CHRISTIAN  ADULTERY  AND GOD (MEDITATION FOR LENT 2014) Adulterers! Do not you know that to be a lover of the world means enmity with God?  Therefore, whoever wants to be a lover of the world makes himself an enemy of God.  Or do you suppose that the scripture speaks without meaning when it says," The spirit that He has made to dwell in us tends toward jealousy?" James 4: 4-5 Those of us who are Christians have a calling to be FAITHFUL, TRUSTFUL and live up to our proclaiming LOVE of our Lord to live the words of our lips, the treasure of our hearts and the actions of our lives to be committed to the truth we proclaim. The question is do we? The world is the enticer to our commitment and faithfulness to our Lord. We CANNOT expect to live in all the seductions of the world and stay faithful to our Lord.  The seductions are sublet and before we know it when our guards are down, excuses ready we are unfaithful to our Lord.  We find what we DESIRE IN OUR FLE
