PRAYERS Pope Francis not too long ago ask for us to pray for the farmers.   They need prayers the drought in India is horrible and in some places going on for over two years.   Many farmers do not have the money for insurance to protect them from the effects of a drought.   It is so bad in some places families can only get 10 liters twice a week to do everything requiring the use of water.   This is NOT drinking water but desperation dictates otherwise.   Bottle water which normally goes for 30 rupees for a 20-liter bottle cost the suffering 30+ rupees for a liter bottle a big chunk out of their bleeding income. WHY The burning question that torments the mind of the elderly is the word WHY.  In the vulnerability of their age and heaven knows their illnesses and disabilities their lives are stacked on a mountain of uncertainties.  The WHY to this is fathom in the forgetful minds of their children and families.  They need to feel safe and secure not living on the edge of feeling disaster will strike and no one cares. The wide spread of mental and physical abuse can only be measured by the coldness of the heart that feels empowered to exercise these evil deeds.  Money foremost drives the power of rejection and abuse.  If the elderly have money, property etc. the abuse is shadowed by the lurking hearts of wanting it all by inheritance and many use every opportunity to cease the moments in the weakness of the elderly to deceive, while giving them little or no true heart of love and caring.  These evil doers have to make sure some semblance of decent care is...

LIL DUDE The most important thing at this moment for this three year old is to be a COOL LIL DUDE.  He was not only COOL but had a neat swag when he moved along with sneakers that squeak and lit up.  He bought a smile to my face and a light hearted joy as he paraded around the shrine I visited this week.  It made me think this is what every child’s life should be COOL, free of worry and full of I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-0-N as stated by one famous super star Sponge Bob Square Pants.  Every child has the  inalienable  right to be a child and live life as such full and playful. KICKING THE COMMON MAN TO THE CURB On November 25 th , at 11:30am on the command of SHRI SP RANNA MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) of the BJP (ruling party), the Forest Department, two bulldozers, and 40 policeman demolition 900 jhuggis (huts) leaving THOUSANDS homeless; 2,000 of which are CHILDREN.  They were given 10 minutes’ notice to collect their belongings and vacate before the demolition.  Needless to say this was not enough time making the loss of home and property devastating.   Many of the residence (COMMON MAN)) had been living there for decades, are working people such as carpenters, auto drivers and taxis, housemaids, gardeners, construction workers, private security guards, and street vendors.  They migrated from  neighboring  states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.  They had electric hook ups, voter cards and an Aadhaar card (equivalent to a Social Security card) with the address of the jhuggis on it.  The COM...
