Jubilee Year of Mercy…Second Half The Jubilee Year of Mercy is nearly half over and it is here we should look at how we progressed in our knowledge and understanding of mercy and how our actions are lining up.   When this Jubilee Year of Mercy was proclaimed by Pope Francis hopefully we looked at the word of Our Lord to make the journey in mercy one of joy thus moving our spiritual lives to a new level of knowledge, understanding as the reward of blessings and grace filled our souls.    Mercy being the core gift from Our Lord where all other graces flow finally ending with the free gift of salvation.   In all that we are, all we do and all that separates us from our Lord on a daily basis His mercy waits for us to repent and turn away from our sins.   His mercy is personal not collective in the sense our heart is what He looks at and moves from there.   Even if we believe the same as others or are connected to the good and evil of others ...

ADVENT 2015 Advent is a time of PEACE and HOPE in anticipation of the spiritual wonder of CHRISTMAS.  It is a time to breathe in the beauty of the coming of OUR LORD.  We NEED to take extra quiet time and soak up OUR LORD through prayer and devotion.  The present situation in the world today CROWDS our minds with worries, fears, in occupation of all what ifs.  We have somehow allowed all the adverse activities of the world to take over our lives to the point we are forgetting PEACE and HOPE.  At times we cannot envision PEACE and HOPE for it is lost in terror of the terrorists. If I were to hit home to us we are NOT left abandon.  We have the POWER in CHRIST JESUS.  We are the children of His/ our MOTHER we are PROTECTED.  We need to give ourselves a BREAK from looking at a continual streams of news of the same things over and over again with politicians and governments having no answer on how to fix this.  We should enco...

MY PERSONAL RETREAT I am going on a personal retreat starting Monday the 12 th and will return by weeks end at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, Poondi Madha Basilica, South India.  This is a very special place for me a piece of heaven on earth.  The shrine is beautiful and has one of the four original statues made in Lourdes of the Mother of God.  The shrine is noted for the many miracles obtained for the pilgrims, from their heart filled petitions before our Lord.  The shrine also has a cross that encases a small chip of wood from the original cross of Christ’s crucifixion.  The cross behind a large glass partition is venerated by the many devotes to the shrine. The shrine campus is very peaceful where one can enjoy a park like setting will see ducks, geese, turkeys, parrots, and Emus.  The shrine has several  grottoes  to Our Lady and the Sacred Heart of Jesus among other statues.   Adjacent to the shrine is the Sinna Ran...
