HOME SWEET HOME
HOME SWEET HOME
These are the photos from our new home with some facts and antidotes. The photos from left to right The hall (living room) common area centered around the altar. Front of the house the small property has fruit trees, plants and a well with a spring flowing under it. The bow window a front bedroom Mario’s. The statue of The Immaculate Heart and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is the close up of the statues on my altar. The eat in kitchen and next to the kitchen (not shown) is Franco’s bedroom and artist quarters. Next is mine and Emmanuel’s room. The room is where we sleep, I pray and write. Then the front of the house from the road where we sit and enjoy the weather, watch the neighbors go by while greeting them. The car can be parked there. Then finally my buddy and protector Emmanuel always keeping the perimeter secured.
We are enjoying this home. This is one of the places hard hit by the flood because of human error the dam was not opened, had it been, there would have been a better story told. The water came to the top of the door jams, businesses were loss not to mention homes abandon because of the trauma of the floods and their effects. Those still here are moving on with cheerful hearts in all probability in thanksgiving.
We live in what is called a colony, five minutes from St. Joseph Cathedral by car. In progress is a beautiful Eucharistic Chapel being completed. There is an English Mass on Sunday’s at 10:30 a.m. however, the daily mass at 6 a.m. is in Tamil.
Lastly, Emmanuel is my constant companion and were I go or even when he is taken for a walk he needs to see me if not Franco is dragged back to where he can see me. He knows his times to eat, sleep and take nap which he will remind me. He lays by my side during most of my prayer time but if he should leave the room he checks back to see if I am finished because then we go out in the yard where he barks and announces my coming. He is basically always by my side however when I have to leave him, he goes crazy. Anyone else can leave the house peacefully except for me, especially if he is not able to come. He barks at every dog for the male does not like his domain crossed however, he thinks his domain is 30 feet from either end of the property including the road. His bark is louder than his bite. When anyone visits he is corded off because they crossed the threshold of his domain and dear to get to close to mommy.
I write many times the blessings and miracles of our Lord through the heart of Mama’s prayers. The wants when we were to move was exactly what I prayed for no less. I am truly bless HE WATCHES OVER ME…PRAISE GOD!
