GOOD AND EVIL
We have become a society of judgment, hatred, anger, and forgetfulness. We forget what Jesus said at one place in His ministry “He without sin cast the first stone” we stand in the crowd sinful as we are and pass judgments. We are heartless in our approach and divorced of knowledge (first hand), understanding, with difficultly to discern without the companion of the Holy Spirit. Most of us whom are on this road of judgment and advice probably spend little time in prayer and or murmur words without a thought of their meaning. I write on the authority of the actions on how we are judging the many trials and circumstance we find ourselves in this is not the teachings of Christ, fellow Christians, or the gentle movement of the Holy Spirit. We are lost and confused about the teachings of Christ. We are elevating ourselves to either having the answers or elevating a human being to savior. If our faith is weak and baseless and our trust of God nonexistent we are doomed to suffer in this life for our souls are in sever danger of being lost forever forcing our Lord to allow this suffering to bring us out of our stupor.
Evil is just that evil and evil is staying with us. We are in a constant battle with evil and the world will never know Shanghai La however, as a community of saints following the path of Jesus Christ can live within our lives in the land of milk and honey. We have a choice daily to take up our cross and slip into the footsteps of Our Lord as we equate our suffering to His, thus making this our journey to holiness. We are tested all the time and this test of late with wars, evil lurking to strike and the suffering of those caught in the cross fire we are failing.
We are shunning the suffering to protect ourselves for we do not believe Jesus is our protector; we do not trust Him. A human savior has more power; are we out of our minds? The pure innocent Lamb who went to the cross for us is replaced by the evil mind of man as our savior
The suffering at the hands of terrorist will always be with us from one religious belief or another not excluding those who claim to not believe in any deity is nothing new for there is nothing new under the sun. Our Lord led these suffering to Christian Countries where they are rejected because of our fear, lack of faith and trust in our Savior. We are not interested in compassion, mercy, love, we are only for ourselves. We are this way because we do not believe in the word of God or intend to follow it. We are condemning souls especially the vulnerable to a life of squalor, malnutrition, untold abuse for rights are dead to them. Their voices will never be heard, their tears never seen and sentence to a life because of their innocence. They are torture, woman and children raped, children forced to work and the weak disposed of. Their life of horror continues because we are faithless, without trust, selfish, and do not have a relationship with the power we have to combat evil Jesus Christ.
This is my own small testimony about those whom are hated and coupled with evil. I must leave India every six months it is required under the India Visa Law. I am in airports where there are many Muslims and their families or even some traveling alone. When I am waiting for boarding if I am sitting next to a Muslim woman or family I strike up a conversation and guess what they talk about their family, kids, career and the like just like regular folks. I have never been shunned or blasted for the crucifix I wear. I travel on planes where about 1/3 of the plane are Muslim travelers. I have sat near them and usually I am the only American on the plane. I writing this because I have not been stabbed obviously. I am treated with kindness afforded an inquiring mind of an old lady. My prayers when I go on a trip has never once “been please God do not let the Muslims get me” but they are many on other intentions
Therefore, the moral of this writing have faith and trust in the power of Christ He will not abandon or forsake us for we are His.
