ADVENT 2015 Advent is a time of PEACE and HOPE in anticipation of the spiritual wonder of CHRISTMAS.  It is a time to breathe in the beauty of the coming of OUR LORD.  We NEED to take extra quiet time and soak up OUR LORD through prayer and devotion.  The present situation in the world today CROWDS our minds with worries, fears, in occupation of all what ifs.  We have somehow allowed all the adverse activities of the world to take over our lives to the point we are forgetting PEACE and HOPE.  At times we cannot envision PEACE and HOPE for it is lost in terror of the terrorists. If I were to hit home to us we are NOT left abandon.  We have the POWER in CHRIST JESUS.  We are the children of His/ our MOTHER we are PROTECTED.  We need to give ourselves a BREAK from looking at a continual streams of news of the same things over and over again with politicians and governments having no answer on how to fix this.  We should encourage and lift one another’s spirits with po

BUCKET LIST Mercy I made notation to write on Mercy after Pope Francis announced this year starting on December 8, 2015 would be the Jubilee Year of MERCY.  I had seen the movie the Bucket List and thought this would be a great approach for enlighten of MERCY for us all using the traditional Corporal and Spiritual Works of MERCY.  However, like all blogs I pray and mull its direction over with Our Lord and He changed it.  The growing fears, prejudices, and decisions being made influenced by media and worldly views is  muddying  the waters of the teachings of Christ.   First and foremost we are CHRISTIANS and espouse the word of Jesus Christ.  There is no fear in this deep spiritual relationship with Him.  He told us to take up our cross and follow Him and that road is treacherous to say the least especially in times such as these.  We cannot or should not put conditions on MERCY because of our feeling that goes against love of  neighbor /love of enemies.  When Our Lord

MORAL HIGH GROUND Do we stand on a MORAL HIGH GROUND the answer is a resounding…YES!  We are CHRISTIANS and we have this MORAL HIGH  GROUND  mentality that DOES NOT QUIT.  It JUDGES without MERCY for we lump everyone in the same culture as EVIL with those who are EVIL.  We have done this throughout the history of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.  Every immigrant that dare to seek FREEDOM in coming to America have been discriminated against and NOT welcomed here such as the Italians, Irish, and Polish to name a few Europeans.  The Japanese BORN Americans were in concentration camps in the LAND OF FREEDOM because of lumping them with the evil attack on Pearl Harbor. MONSOON 2015 TAMIL NADU My Life in India Praise God the Monsoon finally rested upon Tamil Nadu, India.  It has been a long drought which caused all rivers, lakes, ponds, and brooks to literally dry up and become pasture land for livestock.  Then there was the stealing of the sand from the riverbeds for the corrupt “Sand Mafia” while lining the pockets of many who look the other way.  The drought chased away the bird migration to the sanctuaries making them close down for over a year.  The water began reseeding in 2012 with full drought in play by the beginning of 2014 to present day.  I made a conscience commitment to pray for the end of the drought at the beginning of 2015 daily and for every drop of water that fell from the heavens I PRAISED GOD even if the rain lasted for a few minutes.  I prayed prayers of thanksgiving.  I will admit I was disappointed in the long wait between rains and the lengths but I was not giving up for I trust Our Lord was hearing my praye

  CYCLONE 2015 TAMIL NADU My life in India 11/10/15 November 9, 2015 was the day a Cyclone hit Tamil Nadu, India leaving us without power for 16+ hours.  The winds knocked several large trees and we were not spared.  Fortunately for us there was no damage leaving us the tedious job of removing it from the outside courtyard. We spent most of the day taking photographs from the front porch.   The photograph is of me and my German Shepard, Emmanuel  under  the fallen tree.   MY COMMENTARY:  I have spent a number of blogs recently on intolerance, social justice, persecution and the like coming out of India.  I am believer that it is not likely the common man/ citizens of any country that is the problem but very often governments.  Just as adamant as I was/ am about the circumstances in India I am same the same way with the problems in the USA.  The way I write here is with the same heart I tackle my own countries injustice and others as well for they all come

INFANT CHILD JESUS I have always wanted a statue of the INFANT CHILD JESUS and I am on search for the one I saw in a gift shop some twenty years back.  When I saw the statue I wanted it was about 18 inches high with the most amazing red colored layered dress  exquisitely  made with precious stones.  It just took my breath away however, at that time so did the price over 100$.  I would go to the shop and buy other things keeping an eye on my statue (that I was saving to buy) making sure it was still in the shop. One day while driving home I saw the shop window was bare and shop vacated.  I cannot tell you how sad and heartbroken I was.  To this day I keep searching but in the meantime I bought a small ceramic statue. My friend Franco was trying to come up with a subject he wanted to draw but to no avail.  I suggested he draw me the INFANT CHILD JESUS and he did.  Although it is not a statue it is the best and most beautiful drawing.  I am so bless to have such a t

SEDITION/PROTESTS This blog is written purely from COMMON SENSE.  I read some writings on sedition in general and from the angle of India and if you want to explore these writings they are found on the web. There are better authorities on this subject than me. When I read that a minstrel (from South India) wrote a song about his thoughts and dissatisfaction with the government of his state including the CM and at 2 a.m. was taken from his home and charged with sedition.  SEDITION???? In a Democratic Country???? My words was “You got to be kidding.” I went on to state to my friend SEDITION!  I who live in the oldest Democratic Country, USA with all the protest, verbal discontent, marches, and the like, 80% of the country would be imprisoned serving big time sentences.  I could NOT wrap my mind around how a Democratic Country the largest in the world touted around the world from the Prime Minister to other governments referral of India is working a two oxymoron fronts SED
